Recent Doubletree Hotel Durango Review: "The Durango Doubletree is a great place to stay. I stayed on the Animas River side in a ground floor room. This allowed me to walk out of the hotel and down to the river. The hotel is within walking distance of the Durango Silverton Narrowgauge Train station and downtown main street. Along with the hotel restaurant there are several other excellent ones within walking distance. An Albertson's grocery is adjacent to the hotel, also. Very nice place to stay and extremely convenient to downtown shopping and highways."
