| Stayed for a family vacation. It is backed-up against a hill and there is no view to speak of. But, since we spent most of our time out-and-about this was irrelevant. The first room they gave us stank heavily of cat/dog urine. We refused to stay in it (it was THAT bad) and they somewhat reluctantly offered us another room. The second room was fine. The morning breakfast was really good. The kids enjoyed the pool quite a bit. Overall the place is in need of an update/remodel but is definitely adequate for a family vacation and we would have no problem recommending it as such. |

| Internet is way too slow there, but that's the only issue. But, this is a business traveler's hotel, and the internet really needs a boost. |

| Had an extended stay--3 weeks without any incident. Free breakfast every day and snacks at 5:30 Mon-Thurs makes it more economical.
Hallway lights could be brighter. Internet was a little slow--but always connected. Couldn't stream video, but that's not a giant problem. |

| The room was very convenient with a kitchen, living area, and separate bedroom. The bedroom was too close to the bathroom. We turned off the heat at night because the fan was extremely noisy. When it got too cold, usually about 3:00 AM, we turned on the heat for a few minutes, then turned it off and went back to sleep. We asked for a quiet room with no traffic noise, but didn't get it. There are other places to stay in Durango that would have been better. The hotel seemed dated. |

| They loaned me a phone charger and were very pleasant. A very complete hot/cold breakfast. The 3-day advance for cancellation which was a condition of a very good rate can be dicey. |

| This hotel was a bit pricey, but well worth it. Had great beds, clean and very roomy. The breakfast was fantastic and it varied from day to day. The staff were very attentive and friendly. |
